The Wednesday evening service ( 6:30 pm) is a time for discussion and meditation with annointing for healing available before Eucharist. The worship of the Episcopal Church maintains the form and structure of the earliest Church, as outlined in the Book of Common Prayer. We are strengthened by our worship as we celebrate the presence and power of our Lord Jesus Christ, in forms of prayer going back to the time of the Apostles. The first portion of every Eucharistic service begins with a procession and greeting, followed by Old and New Testament lessons read by members of the congregation. The priest then reads the Gospel, delivers his sermon and leads us in a statement of our faith. A member of the congregation then leads the prayers of the people and we all make a general confession of our sins. The "Peace of the Lord" is then passed among the congregation by geeting one another with handshakes or hugs -- and quite a few smiles. The services always include the celebration of the Holy Eucharist or Communion. All baptized persons are welcomed and encouraged to receive Holy Communion, regardless of their previous church affiliation. It is not necessary to take wine if one chooses. We close our services with announcements and a hymn. Please join us for coffee, refreshments and fellowship after any of the services so that we can meet and welcome you. We would like to know you better and answer any questions you might have about our church and worship.
Morning and Evening Prayer services and Bible readings can be found in English and Spanish at Eucharist Services are held daily at St. Paul's Cathedral. The schedule is located on their website at
