Church Growth CommitteeIt is the mission of the Evangelism team to continue St. Tim's tradition of being an open and inviting sanctuary for all who seek to worship and know Christ, as well as to bring the good news to others by making disciples and equipping ministers. The team works with all of St. Tim's ministries to ensure that all persons feel welcome and have an opportunity to find their unique place within St. Tim's where their spiritual needs are met and they can share their spiritual gifts with others. Ushers, Greeters, HostsThis ministry encompasses the service of ushers, greeters and hosts who welcome all who come to worship at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church. They distribute service leaflets, collect alms and guide worshippers during communion. They also seek out visitors and newcomers after the service, distribute information and answer questions. Shepherding MinistryThe Shepherding Ministry, developed in response to the needs of newcomers at St. Tim's, is essentially a buddy system for newcomers. A member of the parish is asked to contact his or her assigned newcomers by phone or mail, and if possible, arrange to meet with him or her at one of St. Tim's gatherings.
