St. Timothy's invited The Rev. Dr. Wilfredo Crespo to be our interim Priest in March, 2007, while serving as a chaplain with the Federal Bureau of Prisions, and then called him as Rector in May 2008 upon his retirement from Federal Service.

Fr. Crespo was a chaplain with the Federal Bureau of Prisons for 20 years and has extensive experience in Pastoral Care. He is a Board Certified Pastoral Care Specialist (AAPC 12012) and brings to St. Timothy's a deep respect, love and commitment to the people of God. He has worked with people who suffer from drug and alcohol addiction, persons who suffer with HIV and related illnesses, people who suffer grief and loss and with persons suffering with mental illnesses. While in New York, Fr. Crespo worked at the Tombs City Jails in New York City, Ricker's Island and in Sing Sing. Fr. Crespo speaks fluent Spanish.
