Healing Ministry: Why and How?Discussion on biblical precedents for healing ministry, spirituality of healing, the laying on of hands as sign of God’s love, healing today, healing as medical fact. Order of St. Luke Healing TrainingSeeking Wholeness in Body, Soul, and Spirit The Order of St. Luke is a vital, vibrant fellowship of believers who have seen a spiritual awakening and renewal, including the recovery of the healing ministry of Jesus Christ as part of the normal life in the Church today. The order seeks to restore the apostolic practice of healing as taught and demonstrated by Jesus Christ; promote the practice of holding healing services and develop local chapters that will promote healing seminars, workshops, and prayer groups. The order believes God uses many avenues for healing -- some spiritual and some medical -- and that they should be supportive of one another. The Order of St. Luke is for everyone who believes healing is an essential part of the teaching and practice of our Lord Jesus Christ and that the healing ministry of the Christ belongs in the Churh today.
