The Alpha Program

Alpha is a ten week practical introduction to the Christian faith. It is designed for those who want to investigate Christianity -- including new Christians, those who feel that they have never really gotten going as Christians and those who want to brush up on the basics. Groups usually meet once week for dinner and classes.

With so many today seeking spiritual connections but unsure where to turn, the Alpha course is right on target. This program is recommended for anyone interested in discovering how the Christian faith can be exciting and life-changing in today's world. Each week we sit down to dinner together followed by worship music, a thought-provoking teaching and then lively discussion. There is plenty of time to get to know each other while you learn together.

The course is Biblically sound, understandable and practical. Programs each week include topics such as "What is the meaning of life?", "What relevance does Christianity have in my life?", "Who is Jesus?", "Why Did Jesus Die?", "Why and how should I read the Bible?", "Why and how do I pray?", "What about the Holy Spirit", "How Can I Resist Evil", "Does God heal today?", "What about the Church?" and "How Can I Make the Most of the Rest of My Life?"
