On October 24, 2009 the Boy Scouts of Troop 667 cleared a large swath of debris from land owned by St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church in preparation for creating a church garden. The Boy Scouts used shovels, rakes, pitchforks and wheel barrows to remove invasive plants and a foot of mulch to prepare an area for a church vegetable garden. "Eventually this area will be used by the church to have a pumpkin patch for the children and other plants to enjoy", remarked church Sexton William Coffey as he looked over the cleared area. (more)
